FAQS

Answers You Need

HOW LONG DOES YOUR REPAIR SERVICE TAKE?

Repairing a pair of sash windows or a door can be time-consuming, and the duration of the repair depends on factors such as the condition, size, accessibility, and extent of damage. For example, if a door has a damaged hinge, it may take up to an hour to replace. In the case of minor rot on the joints, the repair process involves treating the rot, shaping and sanding the affected area, applying an undercoat, and optionally finishing it with paint. This entire process can take approximately up to 6 hours. For a sash window, it typically requires a comprehensive treatment, including repairing faults, damages, and rot, changing the sash cord, checking the balances, draught proofing, painting and decoration if necessary, and fitting the ironmongery. Assembling it back to full functionality and depending on its size, it usually takes 1-2 windows per working day.
